Trail Cup features a curated list of Pokémon positively affected by the update. Below is the infographic explaining the rules and restrictions for Trail Cup, followed by a searchable text list of the 250 allowed Pokémon.
Basic Rules
Trail Cup meta is made exclusively by Pokémon positively affected by the update. Eligible Pokémon must have received any of the following:
- 1 new move learned
- Decreased cost for a charged attack
- Increased damage output for a charged attack
- Increased damage output for a fast attack
- Increased energy generation for a fast attack
These affected Pokémon have been brought together in a curated list of 250 species. Only Pokémon on the allowed list will be eligible for this cup. PvPoke rankings will display the allowed list of 250 species—if a Pokémon does not appear in the rankings, it is not eligible.

Developer Notes
Trail Cup focuses exclusively on Pokémon positively affected by the update. To qualify for the meta, species must have gained a new move, experienced a decreased charged attack energy cost, or received increased damage or energy generation on their fast or charged attacks.
These qualifying Pokémon have been compiled into a curated list of 250 species. To ensure balanced gameplay, five specific powerhouses (Annihilape, Corviknight, Doublade, Mawile, and Melmetal, along with their Shadow variants) are designated as Restricted Species, with a maximum of 1 allowed per team of six.
